Thought I would post this fun pix of Sophie and her dad from Saturday's snow storm! We are finally enjoying milder temps and sunshine.

anatomy of a snow day
First you make some chili (not pictured). Then you make some bread. Next, chocolate chip cookies (thanks to Megan my neighbor for that stick of butter). Package up the cookies for the neighbors (so you don't eat them all yourself out of boredom). Send your daughter and husband out as the cookie messengers. On the way back home they got a little preoccupied with the snow....
and more snow...
Seems like we are getting all of our winter in MARCH! The above are scenes from Wednesday - Lexi's attempt at getting into my driveway (happens with her at least once a year). After the dig out, thanks to my neighbor, Mr. Brown, we spent the rest of the morning eating. We made brownies and Friendship Bread (see http://www.bielozerfam.blogspot.com/).
It is now Saturday morning and we are in the middle of a HUGE storm that will dump almost 14 inches by the time it is finished early Sunday morning! Hoping to get lots of scrappin' and knittin' done since the store is closed!
A year later and Bella & Muffin are best friends!
